Executive Coaching:The mindset to survive and excel as an executive is vastly different from that of an employee. Understanding and working with your personality type is key to taking advantage of your most natural skills while at the same time understanding the need to improve on what it not natural for you. In addition, there are two types of intelligence, IQ Intelligence and EQ Intelligence. EQ Intelligence deals with our Emotional Intelligence - how well we manage our emotions - our thought process. Our personality type is innate - apart of who are for life; however, our Emotional Intelligence can be improved to find emotional balance and improve your executive skills. Working with personality type assessments and interactive conversations, we help you explore ways you can advance your executive skills. Executive Coaching Process Step One - RFP Process: We engage our clients by responding to a Request For Proposal (RFP). Every client and situation is different. We work under time and materials as well as lump sum contracts. It all starts with a phone call. We do not respond to “What’s your price emails.” We need to know and understand your unique situation and conditions. Step Two - Initial Engagement: Coaching is a very personal relationship where mutual respect and trust is essential going into this process. All discussions and information associated with executive coaching is highly confidential. Our initial meeting is usually a half-day meeting to narrow down the objectives of the Executive Coaching process. As apart of this initial meeting, clients maybe requested to take the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator®, the Strong Interest Inventory®, The CPI 260®, FIRO-Business® and/or the EQ-I 2.0 Emotional Intelligence instruments to get an understand of what issues maybe holding a clients back or creating frustration in their lives. Depending on the objectives of the client, we can stop here or go into a weekly or monthly series of followup coaching meetings. It’s important that the initial meeting is held in person if possible, and all follow up meetings can be held with one hour phone conversations. Step Three - 90 Day (Three Month) Coaching: It usually take 90 days or three months of focused training to effectively constitute a change in one’s behavior. Through our weekly meetings, we work with you in ways necessary to help you experience real growth an get past issues that are holding you back in business. The skills needed to start a businesses are often difference from what it takes to build a business. Just like athletes have training exercises to improves specific skills, we work with you to develop training exercises to develop executive skills that support business growth. Step Four - Advisory Boards: One of the most effective and long run way to receive quality executive guidance is the formation of an Advisory Board. We can work with you in designing, starting up, and managing an Advisory Board. Crisis Management: From time-to-time, catastrophic events can happen that can affect the survival of a business. We make ourselves available to be at your side to make sure that clear and well thought out decisions are being made during times of crisis.
