Stratetic Planning |

Strategic Planning: The strategic planning process establishes a company’s Mission Statement, Vision of Success Statement, Organizational Structure, and Phases of Competitive Development. Businesses that establish these four components of a business plan statistically earn ten-times more in profits than other businesses of the same size and market niche that don’t have a strategic plan in place. The Strategic Path Group, with over 19 years of experience in this area, specializes in facilitating the strategic planning process working with senior management and staff as needed. Strategic plans produced as a company wide effort engages the entire company to execute the Mission Statement and achieve the Vision of Success Statement.
Strategic Planing Process Step One - RFP Process: We engage our clients by responding to a Request For Proposal (RFP). Every client and situation is different. We work under time and materials as well as lump sum contracts. It all starts with a phone call. We do not respond to “What’s your price emails.” We need to know and understand your unique situation and conditions. Step Two - Company History: The competitive strategy of an organization starts where the company history stops. It’s essential to develop a brief history of the organization to establish the organization’s competitive resources and investments. By understanding an organization’s past, one can start the forecast an organization’s highest and best fit into the future. Step Three - Management & Staff Team Assessments: We guide management and staff through an MBTI, FIRO-Business, and Strong Interest Inventory Team Building Workshop to discover the organization’s competitive resources. Step Four - Case Study Process: Next we organize management and staff into brainstorming groups to come up with as many possible solutions to advance the organization to the next level of success. In a workshop environment, we then come up 3 to 4 most likely competitive strategies for the organization. We then guide the group through the SWOT analysis process to find the highest and best fit strategy.
Step Five - Competitive Strategy: Once the Case Study process is complete, we guide the management and staff through a creative process to establish a company Mission Statement, Vision of Success Statement, Organization Structure, and Phases of Competitive Development --- combined, constitutes a Competitive Strategy
The Strategic Path Group has over 19 years of teaching strategic planning courses at UCLA Extension. Competitive Strategies developed through company wide process are the most competitive because all are committed because all played a roll in assembling the competitive strategy. For this process to be effective, a natural and experience facilitator must be used or staff and management will tend to follow the actions of the CEO or President.
